Saturday was a new moon. A symbol for new beginnings. A time to set intentions and manifest dreams. Coincidence Saturday was our first public event? Never. Reflection on moments like this encourage trust in our path.

The day brought new friends, warm hearts, and a cozy candlelit space to practice yoga. On Molly's mat muladhara was the focus. This root chakra is the energy center at the base of our spine that grounds us. The group flowed though asanas mindfully sequenced together that cultivated stabilization, balance and alignment. October is officially here, and the season will inevitably transition from summer into fall. Coincidence the muladhara's color is red, just like the turning color of the leaves? We don't think so. We believe that our universe is very organized. Together our yogis set intentions, embraced change, and connected with the earth through a gentle yoga class.

Up in Karli's kitchen a multi-course meal was underway. Baking, broiling, searing, sautéing, and roasting, oh my! The move from mat to table was an easy flow. The group entered the kitchen with a gentle gaze over their faces. Appearing newly restored, some poured a glass of wine to relax, while others literally dove right into the cooking experience. We locked the flavor into some juicy scallops by searing them, we diced and roasted an array of root vegetables, and the risotto was a labor of love. We took turns stirring, and stirring, and stirring until we reached the perfect creamy, al-dente risotto. Together we enjoyed a family-style meal and toasted to each other and our present happiness and peace.

Our journey continues with all of you. Today, and everyday, we are grateful for all of the good energy that surrounds this incredible adventure.

Namaste. And, salud!
