As we relish in the crispness of fall and all the change that comes with this season, often times the 'holiday buzz' can create a lot of static in our lives. This November experience promises to bring you back to what really matters: love and gratitude. A mindful asana sequence, based around heart and hip openers, that will gently sink you into the present moment. By creating space and awareness, we will consciously call to mind all that we are thankful for. Maybe it's the people that surround you and add vitality to your life. Maybe it's the peaceful early moments in the day, a calming hot cup of coffee, or an occasional morning when you can pause and snuggle between those warm sheets for a few extra minutes. Or, maybe, just maybe, it's the happy buzz of your children running through your world. Whatever you feel gratitude for, we welcome you to whole heartedly express it and bring it to life on your mat.
Food brings people together. In the presence of friends and family we celebrate all that we are thankful for. When life gives us bountiful blessings, we have the ability to give so much of ourselves. This meal will nourish the entire body, mind, soul...and sweet tooth! Join us for a smooth, butternut squash soup appetizer, a medley of garlic-herb potatoes, caramelized pearl onions and greens, vegetarian stuffing with cranberries and walnuts, a roasted bird, savory gravy and some artisan love bread. We will finish the night with miniature pumpkin cakes, served with a dollop of fresh cream and espresso. Our recommended wine pairing for the evening is either a plush, light-bodied Pinot Noir or a toasty, oak Chardonnay.
